Funding in the Laboratory of Infection Biology and Translational Research(LIBTR), AIIMS New Delhi (Dr. Vikram Saini)
The Laboratory of Infection Biology and Translational Research, AIIMS New Delhi is led by Dr. Vikram Saini and we work in the area of infectious disease biology and translational research. At LIBTR, we closely work with clinicians to address fundamental questions impacting human health and employ inter-disciplinary approaches of redox biology, bioenergetics, Genomics and Metabolomics, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Chemical Biology, nutrition and immune-metabolism. The laboratory is well-funded with grants from various National Funding agencies (see table) and have extensive National and International collaborations. In addition, AIIMS has excellent infrastructure to support translational and clinical research including the upcoming state of art BSL-3 laboratory and Central Core facilities for genomics, metabolomics and proteomics.
